Attention STEM Juniors and Seniors! If you have unmet financial need for the 2021-2022 academic year, you may be eligible for a new educational financing option called a Student Freedom Agreement. Through a Student Freedom Agreement, students can receive up to $20,000 per year for their education and agree to make monthly payments in the future based on what they earn after leaving college. After graduating or leaving college students agree to pay back a fixed percentage of their annual pre-tax income. The money students pay back goes towards funding additional students at their college in the future.
Student Freedom Agreements are funded by Student Freedom Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
You are eligible to apply if you:
- Complete the FAFSA or acceptable state alternative state aid application that is accepted and approved by [school]
- Are a junior or senior for the school year being funded
