I have a hold on my account. How do I get it removed?

Please log into your BannerWeb to view your holds. Each hold has a description that indicates the office or instructions for resolving the hold.

If you have a past due balance hold you can log into TigerPay to view your balance*. Once you pay your balance your hold will automatically lift one hour after the balance is paid in full.

To view your holds:

  1. Log into MyPortal at myportal.morehouse.edu 
  2. Click the Banner Web icon
  3. Click Student Services & Financial Aid
  4. Click Student Records
  5. Click View Holds

 

*Please note, if your account is significantly past due, your account may be placed with an external collection agency.  If you have a collections hold you must resolve your balance with the collection agency.
